As Sarah Palin's bus tour of whatever nothingness continues to roll on (including its stop at Trump Tower), speculation continues from some in the political media that she could be preparing to launch a run at the White House. Lawrence already told you last week what he thinks of all this (spoiler alert: Palin isn't running). And several other members of the political press have also seen Palin's quest for publicity for what it is. One of them is our msnbc colleague, Martin Bashir, who took a few minutes to give his thoughts at the end of his show today during his segment, "Clear the Air."

Clear the air of anything Sarah Palin. We are SICK of her. Dump her before I dump MSNBC.
After all her stupid tweets and statements,she needs this bus tour.It should be called The Palin Ego Replenishment Tour.How much money is this so called consertive, spending on this tour she claims is not campaigning.

Why is the MSM still paying attention to this silly woman? If she were to be ignored for a month (or less) she would crawl back to wherever she is living and be out of the public eye. This tour is nothing more than Sarah wanting to be in the limelight, and make money.
"Clear the air"? Maybe the segment should be called "Blind hatred" because the observing the Flag Code is "purely voluntary". But that would require doing 2 minutes of research which MSNBC does not have time for when its time for another hourly Palin bash segment.

I love your sarcasm there Buzz. What I find amusing is how people are so worried Palin MIGHT run that they are desperate to discredit her and the only thing they can find is a flag code violation because she is proud of it and displays it on her bus....yet it's okay to burn the flag to show your hatred for this country....and how about doing something about the ILLEGAL immigrants? I could go on as there are so many legitimate and more important issues we should be concerned with but I will stop there. I am glad there is finally a strong woman out there who is patriotic and will stand up for traditional values. I get really tired of milk-sop women who vote on a feeling instead of looking rationally at history, values, actions, economy, etc to make a rational decision.

Buzz, I have no objection to anyone making money. However, it has just about gotten to the point with reporting on Silly Sarah where any and everything she does is supposedly newsworthy. How long will it be until the headline reads Sarah Palin had a BM this morning. She is neither news nor newsworthy. Maybe she should have her very own cable channel. That way most everyone could just not watch her, and the few who think she is just the greatest thing going could watch her all the time.

I have a few thoughts regarding the "Grifter Granny's Gas-Guzzlin' Gig"...
She's joy-riding around on SarahPac's dime but this woman has no intention of becoming POTUS. She's loving all this attention and having the press chase her around but she's not about to be saddled with a serious job. We all know that (and she's made it abundantly clear by quitting just about every job she's had.) Her Fox gig pays her a million a year with minimal effort on her part and she gets to see herself on TV. Then she's got idiots willing to pay her big $$ to make speeches & books she doesn't even have to write! In her mind, she's hit the big time. And she's not giving it up for a measly 400K a yr. Especially when she sees what the REAL POTUS has to deal with. Its more fun to stand on the sidelines and agitate.
But she's spent the past few years being a Tea Party tease dangling her possible candidacy in front of them like a stripper twirls her panties. So now she needs to figure out a way to bow out and still keep them panting after her like dogs in heat. Whats a grifter to do?
