The Last Word Team is busy digging through sound bites and tweets from the array of possible 2012 candidates. Sarah Palin had a three-part tweet about Libya, Michele Bachmann has been speaking about the debt and Donald Trump is, well, just talking. There's also a pretty interesting ad about Medicare we're looking into which might have some fact issues (just sayin').
In the process, we debated what to order for dinner tonight, a Friday tradition here at The Last Word. (I pushed for a Taco Fiesta Party). Hmmm, sound bites and Mexican Fiesta… how are they connected? Oh right.
One of the best pieces of campaign sound I have ever heard. It comes from a radio ad from a Republican who was running for Congress in my home state against Rep. Brad Miller (D-NC) back in 2006. Call it an early "Friday Funny" courtesy of perpetual candidate, Vernon Robinson.
Click here for the audio clip of Robinson discussing "one big fiesta for illegal aliens and homosexuals."

The Mexican flag shows us what became of snake on the Dont Tread on Me flag.
After hearing the contents of the enclosed audio clip, I'm convinced GOP candidate Vernon Robinson's campaign is one big joke, as he appears to be selling the usual racist/birther/homophobia recycled sewage to the mass public while hopelessly running a three ring circus that's bound for inevitable failure. He should consider changing his name to "Vermin" as it would suit him well on account of his blatant bigotry and stupidity.
