All you’ll need this month is an HDTV, a roomy couch, and a mini-fridge stocked with an endless supply of beverages. Yes, it’s here – I’m talking about March Madness.
Basketball enthusiasts everywhere have been eagerly anticipating an entire month dedicated to 12 hours of basketball with 68 college basketball teams all hoping to play at the Final Four games in Houston. President Obama, a recreational basketball player, decided to take a break from the budget and the crises in Japan and Libya, to fill out his NCAA bracket. In an interview with ESPN’s Andy Katz, President Obama went with all four of the No. 1 seeds to make it to the Final Four – the University of Kansas, Duke University, Ohio State, and the University of Pittsburgh. And for the second year in a row, his winning pick is the Kansas Jayhawks on the men’s side.
But his choice in the women’s tournament will not be revealed till Friday at 9am ET.
