Breaking news tops the show in just a few minutes: Republicans in the Wisconsin Senate voted tonight to separate a provision stripping public employees of their collective bargaining rights from Gov. Scott Walker's controversial budget bill. No Democrats were present for the vote. All 14 Senate Democrats have left the state to prevent quorum on the overall budget bill. We'll take you live to Madison to find out what this means for the weeks-long battle between Walker and state workers.

Payback is a mother, huh?
Where was all your fakey liberal indignation when the Pelosi/Reid/Odumbo troika force the so called "Affordable Care Act" down our throats?
I don't care who you are, y'all are slap-your-momma funny!
Exit, stage right waving the burning Union card.
Wisconsin is the tip of this iceberg. If our elected leadership state and federal can not stand up and help fight this fight for the people, how can we expect this insanity to stop. Where is President Obama? We take time to comment on injustice happening overseas, but can't take the time to handle the mess in our own back yard. The real victims of this battle are not the teachers or the public workers who are at the capitol building, but are the many children who are not being taught and nurtured during this timultuous time, and who in the aftermath will have to contend with decreased funding and increased class size. These children are our future, and they are worth fighting for. We the people cannot do it alone, we need our generals to lead, not to run and hide, or to stand idle while the rights of the masses are trampled.
"Rights of the Masses" - what the hell are you talking about. The only thing you are right about is your so called "generals" running and hiding! Everything is a "right" to you libs. Collective bargaining is not a right! And there you go again pulling the "Children" card. Guess what the children will be just fine. And if we can get rid of those budget busting unions there might be more money for the children.
If you don't show up and do your job should you be surprised that at some point someone else steps up and does it for you. It you don't have any cajones and run away this is what you get. You can't run away and not fight and then complain about what happens as a result. if it is truly important then it is worth fighting for....the fab 14 should have stayed and fought.
Besides collective bargaining is not a inalienable right, it is nice to have but it is not a god given right. If the union wants collective bargaining so bad would they be willing to agree to a clause that required all labor contracts to be approved by a public vote....if you want collective bargaining how about collective agreement?
Collective bargaining....they want the right to collective bargain with people they can vote into and out of office. Hmmm, wouldn't it be more fair if they can collective bargain but taxpayers have to collectively approve via a public vote on the contract. A vote of yes and the agreement stands, a vote of No and both sides go back and try again. It seems to me that what is fair for the goose should be fair for the gander.
Hmmmmm........one Democrat tantrum slapped down.......the next one begins. Its like running a school for petulant children. But ya gotta love seeing talking heads like Olbermouth going apoplectic. It is to laugh.
What they have done in WI is appalling. Also probably illegal. For thee weeks + Walker et al have said collective bargaining was a FISCAL matter. Then last night they said it wasn't to enable them to vote without the Dems. But today the Gov. is back saying how much money this is saving the state and connecting it to FISCAL matters again. It is either FISCAL or it's not. They can't have it both ways.
Yes - they pulled a slick move didn't they. Hmmmm, kinda like a a a let me see what the democrats did on Obama care. What goes around comes around!
