Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker has been insisting his so-called budget repair bill is all about saving dollars. Not union busting. But, in a phone conversation with a man he believed to be billionaire GOP-backer David Koch, Walker had very different motivation.

In essence - "We're going to get our freedom back." Hell, Walker wants to get "his freedom" back while taking freedom from others.

What's the matter with this guy? Over-tired? Over-whelmed by all the attention? He seems unable to understand what O'Donnell is asking and sounds like some "prankster" rather than a journalist.
I don't think he realizes that he struck media gold with his stunt - and it appears to have been just dumb-luck. No well-thought out journalistic coup... just an arrogant "kid" with no integrity playing at being an investigative journalist on his computer.
My thoughts too. Mr. Murphy must have been up for the past 48 hours patting himself on his back, because he certainly didn't sound (or look) like a journalist. In the end, though, all that matters is that all of us, in unions and the non-represented sectors of labor and management, have to swallow hard and start making concessions to restore some sanity in budgets.

OKLAHOMA CITY — A state House committee has narrowly approved legislation that would repeal collective bargaining rights for municipal employees in Oklahoma's 13 largest cities.
The House General Government Committee voted 9-7 Wednesday to repeal the Municipal Employees Collective Bargaining Act. The measure was passed by lawmakers in 2004 and requires cities with populations of more than 35,000 to collectively bargain with their workers.

I sure wish that Americans would stand united for The People. The politicians have been bought by the Citizen’s United ruling. I hope the collusion between two of our USSC Justices and the Kock Brother’s Corporate machine is investigated further. This is damning to the integrity of the highest court in the land!

Artificial testing is a set up for kids and ultimately for teachers to be scapegoats. SAVE MONEY, DUMP THE TEST. There are better assessement tools already in place in many schools. Assessment is only as good as the information gathered and it's application to the education of the students. The big test does neither. It is only for adults

The Mafia-like unions will have to bargain with one eye on their members and another eye on the taxpayers who fund their deals...agast! What a concept! Actual union fiscal responsibility!
Hey....here's a suggestion...stop wasting billions of your union members hard earned dues money on lobbyists and left wing looney candidates who's ideas are outdated and fiscally corrupt! Invest that money in things like new energy, gold, government securities and real estate. That way, you may be able to fund your OWN health care, retirement and fringe benefits! What a concept!
I saw you last night discuss the prank call with the caller, and I watched you on the daily rundown show this morning, and it seems you missed the point and the severity of the implications of what this incident exposed. This guy is obliviously in the pocket of the Koch brothers, and you fail miserably to highlight this. Instead you focus on the President for not talking sides. Man, where is Keith Oberman when we need him, at least we knew he was always with the people.
I remember back to when I pulled silly pranks on people. I think I was like 12 years old, maybe younger. Amazing when you can't get a story through the front door you resort to this. I will say this however. Walker is one stupid sob not to have been able to see through this for what it was, suggestive and leading questions. This was like listening to a broadcast of that tv game show "Am I Smarter Than a 5th Grader", or whatever it was called. However, if a 5th grader were taught by a Union teacher, the kid has a 66% chance of not being able to read or write at a 5t grade level.

Paying union dues should not be mandatory. Collective bargaining with taxpayer dollars should not be allowed. If there are no jobs because there is no money, what good is a union? and exactly where do these union dues go? where do you think? the union leaders' pockets and the politicians' pockets. How much of American's union money is being spent/used in the Middle East to overthrow those governments? Is this what American union workers REALLY want their hard earned money spent on? to stand with communists, socialists and marxists? No one truly listens to one another and then seriously considers the facts. We have to look past ourselves and do what is right for the country as a whole. Our ancestors, our FAMILIES, have fought and died so that we can have freedom, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. The PURSUIT of happiness......not a guaranteed outcome. No one is OWED a house or an education or a job. Americans have never been soft. We've never needed any one to carry us on their backs. We're the greatest country in the world......we should get back to what makes us great: God, self reliance, freedom, honor, justice.
