MSNBC viewers caught former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld this afternoon in an exclusive interview on Andrea Mitchell Reports. There were some sharp exchanges between the former U.S. Secretary of Defense and our host.
Quite the opposite on last night's The Late Show with David Letterman in which he recalls Lyndon B. Johnson's large earlobes and being ejected from a limousine by Gerald Ford.
Rumsfeld has been making television appearances in support of his recently published memoir Known and Unknown.

Lawrence O'Donnell is a joke. He makes a big deal before Obama's SOTU speech about being disappointed if Obama doesn't mention gun control but then says nothing about it since. Yet he's never said he's even slightly disappointed in Obama for continuing our wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, for keeping Blackwater on the job, for retaining extraordinary rendition of suspects to other countries for enhanced interrogation, or for failing to authorize investigation into the Bush administration's illegal policies. Obama has never stood with the progressives on anything, but that doesn't bother O'Donnell. At least Rachel Maddow had the guts to call Obama out on his unconstitutional plan to imprison suspects preemptively.
P.S. I think steve3035426 is really Donald Rumsfeld.
I was wrong. steve-3035426, aside from being functionally illiterate, is really santorum. Google santorum and click on the first entry and you'll see I'm right.
It was refreshing to have someone at least try to obtain answers from anyone in the Bush administration. All too often they just sit there and let the person fabricate answers or completely avoid answering at all. Rumsfeld's book is shelved in fiction, right?
