Ian's Pizza On State
Protesters taking a pizza break in Madison, Wisconsin.
Until very recently, Ian's on State Street was just a well-loved pizza joint serving college kids at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Now, Ian’s amassed new status as a vehicle for international donors to show support for protesters.
Located within walking distance of the State Capitol, the pizzeria has become a hub of goodwill. Ian's received calls from 38 states and 12 foreign countries, looking to contribute to the protesters' cause. These callers are ordering pizzas for the crowds. It may not solve the labor crisis, but a free hot slice goes a long way on the picket lines in the cold Midwestern winter.
On Saturday, Ian's delivered more than 1,000 slices and 300 full pies to the Capitol. The delivery orders continued throughout store hours Sunday.
Ian's said the first donation came from a Badger parent, but soon money started pouring in from as far as South Korea and Turkey. The pizzeria is using Twitter and Facebook to update followers on the pizza drive.

Could you please tell everyone who is listening to the Wisconsin Governor say that Teachers in the State are overpaid that the starting salary is $25,000 and the Average Salary is $46,000. Let's get all the lawyers to live on that.
Am watching your show from Wisconsin. Walker is chomping at the bit to lay off government workers then there'll be no processing of applications for government programs, especially Obama health care law. His priorities when taking office were to join states declaring it unconstitutional and to rush through tort reform legislation.
What about the National Fair Labor Act of 1935???
What happened to the National Fair Labor Act of 1935?
Why not start a govenor Walker recall petition? Also, it should be brought home to the senators that they will be up for re-election in the future and people have long memories.
