hi lawrence . im from a small town in georgia .im white 41 and live im heterosexual male but i do not hate anyone for there sexual orientation or religous beliefs . also i am an athiest but live an an all christian republican community . so what io would like to ask is why hasnt someone come to th south and done a undercover documentary about what people here are really like here . i mean really if someone came here and i do mean anywhere here in the south and went and hung around with your typical white southerner and filmed them in a normal setting like on the golf course or at a club i think the whole world would really see what your average white southern republican is really like . and i mean even your prominate upscale person. they will portray there real selves to a reporter but someone undercover would have a field day . and i can tell your from living here and owning a business 95% of white people her are racist or prejudice to some degree i know i have to pretend on a daly basis to like these redneck idiots . so why doesnt someone come and do some real reporting i would be glad and i do mean happy to take them around and let them here the typical racist and just downright stupidity of what is said bye people here becuase on tv the republican politicians do a great job of maintaing that the south realy isnt that way when in fact it is

Well, don't feel bad. It's that way all over the world. I've lived and worked outside this country a few times and i gotta say we may make a big deal about it, but, them foreign countries are alot more racially biased than they portray themselves. Japan is one of the worst. Central and S. America are bad as well. Europe may think their all enlightened, just bring up a muslim around your average Scouser.

I love your show and watch it faithfully because you show such knowledge and wisdom with the political process but why would you lend legitimacy to Anne Coulter by having her on your show. I feel she just says outrageous and cruel things about anyone and anything just to get attention. She has nothing of value to say and I feel very disapointed that you would invite her to your show. Please go back to your informative and intelligent guests!! Thanks for all your wonderful work minus Coulter.

Ann just revealed a very interesting insight. She said it would be a step down for Palin to run for President. That Palin is already huge. That her tweets are already heard round the world. It would be as if Rush stepped down from his media thrown to run for President.
She is admitting that for this class of far right professional clatterers they are not interested in the real world job of governance. They don't want to be actually responsible or accountable because it would cramp their act.
They don't want to lead they just want followers.
This was indeed worth the price of admission. Normally, Ms. Coulter makes my skin crawl. She is snarky, cruel, deceitful and hollow but ah! there is apparently purposefulness to this that I missed before. The grandstanding loudmouths of the right don't want the responsibility of actually governing...they just want platforms from which to shout and to feel adulation.

Upraisings are coming upon us, because the Republicans BS is starting too settle at the top of the water. The same has happen in other countries as of late. Lawrence, perhaps you're not aware of Coulter (at CPAC I believe) wondering why the liberals were so shocked at the violence towards American media in the Middle East where as SHE was in disbelief that more of them weren't "shot". You portrayed such indignation at the sexual abuse of the CBS reporter Logan that I was surprised to see you give you're buddy Coulter a free pass on wishing the ENTIRE press corps physical harm. You and Matthew's are falling into the bad habit of #1 inviting these hypocrites on your shows where I have to listen to them, then #2 not calling them out when they spew their lies and hatred which only gives their views credence.
Simply stating surprise that more newspersons weren't harmed (shot) is a long way from condoning the Egyptians actions as you seem to be implying.

It was amazing. When faced with somebody who would challenger her, rather than endorse her idiocy, Anne Coulter's balls shrank, her ovaries enlarge, she was infused with female hormones, she became demure and a pussy cat.
Okay, I've given you some time to demonstrate that you're worth watching, LOD, and at this point...no, you're not. While the opening section had some merit, even that was soundly outclassed by Maddow and even Ed Shultz.
Nice try indeed...but from the comments above, it seems your viewers have no interest in fair and balanced...or even polite. Not one disection of the topic... the qualifications of the GOP candidates. Unfortunately, this represents the uninformed viewership that MSNBC has created...incapable of analyzing anyone's qualifications. Sad.
There was no discussion of GOP candidate qualifications beyond Coulter's expressions of love for Christie and questions about Romney's electability. Every time she made a statement and O'Donnell attempted to get her to commit to it, shebacked down. Unlike when he grilled the rep who was possibly taking a tax cut by sleeping at the Capitol, he let her get off every time. The show came off like a "fist date".
What she has to say about anything is of no relivence to anyone who has heard this "woman" speak before. She is a huge @!$%#- end of story. Watched the show every night, but you have three less viewers now.
even though her delivery is brutal, she is honest. Something I find O'Donnell to be lacking in alot of his statements. Perhaps he needs better fact checkers?

Wednesday evening you verbally beat a man up for not answering the questions you obviously already had the answers to. It was over the top. Then, last night, your guest was the despicable Ann Coulter. Why would you do that to us ~ your audience? And why would you do that to yourself? Not only did she NOT get verbally beaten up, I was expecting you to ask her out on a date. You demeaned all of us who respect you ~ and looked like an ass ~ something I never thought I could feel / think about you. I turned your show off for the very first time ever ~ in utter disappointment. I am now confused about you as a person ~ who you are ~ the gentle man who asked us to give to KIND or some other guy who would have the likes of a despicable human being on? I plan to watch a few more times to see if you address this on The Last Word. If not, it will be Rachel and Ed only.

I agree with those who are unhappy with Ann Coulters appearance on your show. This womans value system is very warped. She believes because she sells a lot of books, and makes a lot of money that she is a success. I don't see her as a successful person at all. Was she on just because she's your friend?
I understand having conservatives on. I enjoy it when Larry challenges conservative elected officials. I enjoy an honest discussion with honest (or semi-honest) conservative pundits like, say, David Frum. But, Ann Coulter? She's nothing but a self-promoting, low-brow terrorist. Why give her hateful rhetoric a platform?
When she was introduced, I flipped the dial. I'll watch again tonite, but one more Coulter appearance, and I'm gone for good.
