Rep. Gabrielle Giffords
A month after sustaining a gunshot wound to the head, Arizona Rep. Gabrielle Giffords displayed encouraging signs of recovery via a vocalized breakfast request.
Giffords' Chief of Staff Pia Carusone confirmed the Congresswoman asked TIRR Memorial Hermann hospital workers for toast when they brought her morning meal.
This marks a major milestone in her recovery. She was gravely injured after the January 8 shooting spree in Tucson that killed six and injured 13.
Giffords' husband, astronaut Mark Kelly, has been giving updates on her progress through his Facebook page. He said yesterday she eating three meals a day at her Houston rehab facility.
Kelly is scheduled to command the space shuttle Endeavor's April 19 mission to the International Space Station. He hopes her condition improves enough to attend the launch in Cape Canaveral, Florida.

The whole world is on fire and Lawrence is talking about sex,football, fashion and all the other nonsense. Lawrence even right wing conservatives these days do not ignore the cry of 80 million people for liberty and justice. Keith Olberman was a giant and you never will have the courage to follow in his footsteps

Don, don't let him get your goat. He's not worth you being suspended again. He's an ignorant plebe. Believe me, I could rip him apart verbally if I so chose, but he's not worth anything more than my efforts to get him suspended or kicked off the blog.
You know what would just be hilarious steve? If one of your own children blows your brains out in your sleep. The next time I hear about that happening, and rest assured it will, I will laugh and think of you.
