Joan Rivers stopped by The Last Word tonight. She chatted with Lawrence about her new job as Go Daddy's spokesmodel and declared herself a "GILF." That's right, her words. Watch until the end — during Lawrence's anchor toss to Rachel Maddow, Joan slipped in some beauty advice to the the 9pm ET host. Rachel's reaction is priceless.

Oh where has your podcast gone?
Oh...... what's that..... you haven't put one out yet?
You should!
It would bring a ton of ears to your show!!!
I have been watching Mr. O'Donnell and I am sorry to say that I am very disappointed. When people like Joan Rivers, Jennifer Grey and Megan McCain are guest on his show I cant possibly take him seriously. I find Joan Rivers calling herself a GILF on his show disgusting. I do respect Mr. O'Donnell but find myself going to CNN at 8:00. I would prefer to see Dylan Ratigan on at 8:00.
Everything Maddow does is priceless! Also, I'd totally watch a The Last Word podcast. GILF= win!
Seconding the request for a podcast.
For Lawrence O’Donnell who railed about the “socialism of sports” Monday night, here are some facts about Lambeau Field, the “Green Bay Packers stadium”:
The stadium was originally dedicated as City Stadium September 29, 1957, and originally built at a cost of $960,000, an amount shared equally by the Packer Corporation and the city of Green Bay. The financing from Green Bay was through a bond issue that received 2-to-1 voter approval in a municipal referendum conducted April 3, 1956.
The recent $295 million redevelopment of Lambeau was started with a county-wide referendum that approved a half-cent sales tax increase in September 2000 in Brown County, where the Packers make their estimated $144 million annual economic impact. The sales tax increase contributed $160 million in bonding. The state of Wisconsin approved additional funding of $9.1 million for stadium infrastructure improvements. The Packers, the city and the NFL contributed $125.9 million from a one-time seat user fee ($1,400 for seven-game 'Green Package' ticket holders, $600 for three-game 'Gold Package' ticket holders, in 2001), proceeds from the 1997-98 stock sale (the Packers are owned by stockholders, many of whom are Green Bay residents; there is no millionaire owner) and an NFL loan.
Was I the only one paying attention, or the only one who cares but didn't Joan Rivers say here (jokingly? or not) that she preferred a "benevolent dictator" in Egypt that's friendly to Israel? Watching again I realize that was planted by Lawrence himself. I really like your show but I'm mystified by this whole exchange. I believe it deserves at least as much of an apology as the comments that you made regarding professional football athletes and head injuries.
