The title and photo pretty much give everything away here, but I'll explain anyway. There has been a rash of jury duty summons going around The Last Word HQ. Okay, I'm only the second one to be summoned, but I'm also the second to be placed on an actual jury. And what's more, I'm told my service could take up to ten business days (zomg!!). Not too happy about that, but there's obviously nothing I can do about it. And that's also about the only detail of the case I'm permitted to discuss.
So while my presence is obviously not required both simultaneously at jury duty and The Last Word HQ because our bosses are thoughtful and merciful, I happily made a voluntary exception for the last segment in our show yesterday. As a rather big geek (not a nerd, there's a difference), a chance to meet The Mythbusters was simply too good to pass up. And I'm happy to report, Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman couldn't have been nicer or happier to stop by and chat with Lawrence. They're also (and if you watch their show this won't surprise you in the slightest) even funnier off-camera. So thanks again guys, and please come back anytime!!

I can't help but get the feeling that Adam is the liberal while Jamie is the economically conservative gun rights guy. Just a thought.
were those the criminals in the photo? Is LAX saving govenrment $$$$$ by taking photos of (3) in a picture so they can save their local economy a few bucks?

I am a tea bagger type. The only reason I watch MSNBC is that I want to know what you are thinking. Most of the time, I do not agree with anything you say. Lawrence, tonight you were just Brilliant. Never in the history of News Watching have I ever seen an anchor make their guests give Honest Solutions to what they were pushing. It was incredibly Refreshing. You keep asking the hard questions. I will keep on watching. All of that Red Faces Shouting is Never going to Solve anything.

You need to address WHERE the MSL Rover Curiosity is being selected to land. Far away from the ONLY area on the USGS map of Mars where its "origins enigmatic" labeled for ALL rock types and features in the area. Cydonia

Landing North West of Cydonia on the basin of the old ocean would allow many MORE scientific opportunities than ANY other spot. The 'Enigmatic" areas are a short drive East.
Also ... have the Myth Busters find me even a 100 m/p map of the mineralogical, spectrographic and chemical LABELED compositions of the Cydonia area around the Ares Face, D&M Pyramid, the Tholus and other "enigmatic" features.
A 3D Digital Terrain Model of the Area would be nice too. When we've been going round and round with the MRO HiRise doing everywhere ELSE with these things .... EXCEPT .... ROTFLMA ,,, since 1976 ... the Ares Face.
Still NO ... 3D Digital Terrain Model from the MRO HiRise Folks . Hmmmm.
