It is a very noteworthy day here in New York. This morning we received the first snowfall of the season! It was only flurries, but it's still special. Meanwhile, as The Last Word team toils away to bring you tonight's sure-to-be awesome broadcast, I am out of pocket. No, I'm not somewhere awesome on some awesome assignment. I'm downtown in court. And no, I'm not here answering to charges of incessant jay-walking... although the way I get around Manhattan, I'd really have no defense against such charges. I'm doing my part to make our democracy work by serving jury duty. If you're really bored and like snarky legal jokes, you can check out my live-tweeting of the day's events thus far. But as for now, I have to head back into the courtroom to get my justice on.
