After weeks of rumblings, Rahm Emanuel appears to be out. The White House Chief of Staff is expected to step down in order to make a bid for Chicago mayor.
The White House says President Obama is scheduled to make a personnel announcement tomorrow. White House spokesman Robert Gibbs would not confirm the content of the announcement. But, Pete Rouse's name has allegedly been floated around as Emanuel's replacement on an acting basis. Rouse, White House senior adviser, was Obama's chief of staff when he served in the Senate.

Mayor Bloomberg was totally right. The four most important people in the US are the president, the Mayor of New York, the governor of California and the mayor of Chicago. Give Rahm A. 20years in Chicago City Hall and he can hit number two. He will never get number one as long as he has the Israeli passport in his pocket/.
It's about time... This foul-mouthed bully did nothing the help the Obama team "govern" effectively.
Hopefully the change will start bringing his cabinet closer together.
